Now that the 2011 KAD Conference is over, KAD President Sharon White and the 43rd Biennial Kentucky Association of the Deaf (KAD) Conference Planning Committee wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the people who helped make this conference a very successful one.

Don't forget about the upcoming Indiana Fever vs. Atlanta Dream game on Saturday, August 27th, 2011. This game will be featuring WNBA All-Star Tamika Catchings who is deaf! Tickets are discounted for KAD members and Tamika Catchings will speak after the game.
Gate Communications' 6th annual Deaf Day at the Zoo. People have attended from 7 different states and annually we see people come from Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, and Georgia come to the Nashville Zoo for a full day of accessibility as events, exhibits, tours, shops, and cafes are interpreted for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
